That speech you want to give. That step you want to take. That person you want to talk to.
Whatever it is that is holding you back...it's time to let it go.
It's time to take action. Most people live with regrets instead of living with the rewards of life.
When you take action, even if it doesn't turn out the way you expected, it was still worth it. Because as John Maxwell says, “Sometimes you win, and sometimes you learn.”
Yet, even though we know all the cliches, and we know all of the advice, there are many who do not take action to crush their fears.
If there is something that you are thinking of doing, but want to build your confidence to do it, here are 3 ways to prod yourself into action.
We live in a society where we are told that we need to visualize our success and fabulous future, and that IS necessary. However looking at what could go wrong can help you because when you really look at the worst case scenario, you realize that the chances of it ACTUALLY happening are slim to none. When you realize that, your fears dissipate and you can get on with staying in constant action.
Now picture yourself in the same fashion. Your mind can manufacture your reality if you let it.
Don't leave anything on the table. As Speaker Lisa Nichols says:
“When you are old, you are supposed to look back on your life from your rocking chair, and tell the stories of your life...
When you are young, however, just make sure those stories are going to be GOOD TO TELL...”
(She may have used the word JUICY, but you get the point)
Leave it all out there. When your life is done, be spent.
Live, Have fun, Play, Dare and Dream.
