Working with Youth
When I was 5 years old, my dad left my mom. Though I saw him on occasions, I was raised primarily by a single mother. I can remember a few valuable lessons my father taught me, but I definitely would have been better off if he had been there full time.
Now from the involvement that I have coaching and mentoring youth, I can see that the importance of male mentors in ANY child's life - male or female - has tremendous positive outcomes.
My goal now is to instill confidence, resilience, and leadership skills into our youth by simply sharing my story, and helping to ignite the power already within them.
